Are the MakeHumanAI tools really free?
Yes, really. No sign-up and no daily limit, and almost everything downloads clean and free. The one exception is the DV Lottery checker: its fixed photo is free with a watermark, or $11 without — and we tell you that on the tool itself, before you download anything. The rest of the site costs us almost nothing to run, because the tools work in your browser instead of on our servers — so there's nothing to charge you for.
Are my photos and documents uploaded to a server?
No — and people don't usually believe this until they test it. The tools run entirely on your device. Load a page, switch your internet off, and they'll still work. Your photos never travel anywhere.
Which countries do the photo tools support?
The US comes first — visa (DS-160), passport, DV Lottery and USCIS photos — then the UK, the Schengen countries including Germany, Canada and Australia. Each preset uses that authority's own pixel dimensions and file-size limit, not a one-size-fits-all crop.
Why do visa and passport photos get rejected?
In our experience it's rarely the photo itself — it's the file. Wrong pixel dimensions. A JPEG that's 12KB over the limit. A PNG where the portal only accepts JPG. Or the opposite headache: a file so small it falls below the minimum size. All of these are ten-second fixes once you know which rule you broke — and that's exactly what the checkers tell you.
